Fact

Fact: I haven't posted anything in more than a week.
Fact: My life is way too boring to post right now
Fact: My parents were in town last week and we had a lot of fun
Fact: We also ate a lot of good food
Fact: It feels more like spring than summer right now in Chicago
Fact: I watch the Tour de France extended coverage every night...because I like it
Fact: The cat did something nasty in the litter box just now because it is stinking up the apartment - oy vey
Fact: I rode my new (to me) bike to work, and I wore a helmet
Fact: I feel like such a nerd wearing a helmet, but a lot of people wear helmets here (lots of crazy drivers around)
Fact: Frank Lloyd Wright was a nasty immoral man - as evident in The Fellowship
Fact: I like Twizzlers way better than Red Vines
Fact: I ate Honey Nut Cheerios for dinner
Fact: Can't wait for this summer to be over, I'm missing my man - a lot
Fact: I just bought a new duvet cover on a super sale, because I am a mighty hunter of bargains
Fact: I have had a Nuns Having Fun calendar ever year for the last 4 years. I love Nuns.

I never think your posts are boring! In fact, I love them! Did you and your folks go anywhere interesting over the weekend? And by the way, I can't get enough of Le Tour de France - isn't it the best? The countryside, the strategy, the fitness level of those guys, can't wait to see what happens next (by the way, did you notice the devil showed up early in the race this year as opposed to seeing him only in the mountains?)

You got one fact wrong, unfortunately. Red Vines are way batter than Twizzlers:)

Okay, I guess it is a fact that you like Twizzlers more though... I misread the first time and needed to clarify.

Twizzlers? Seriously. I'm over you.

wow, who would have though Twizzlers could cause so much tension. ouch! I might as well get it all off my chest, I like Bajio's better than Cafe Rio. Gasp!

That was one of the most insightful posts I think I have ever seen. Oh, and I hate Twizzlers AND Red Vines. One time I bit off the end to make it sticky and rubbed it on one of Kyle's stuffed animals. It was disgusting, but worth it.

KAte.. I love your blog, you're hilarious. I went to the good ol rec center yesterday and was remembering the good ol days! :]
I like Twizzlers WAY better than red vines too.
Your bike is so tight, I'm jealous.

twizzlers rule. they went way faster than the red vines at girls camp. maybe it was because there were more red vines, but I choose not to believe that.

and

Fact: my daughter was caught putting sugar on her honey nut cheerios the other day.

ewwww.

I loved all your facts. Because the fact is...we have spent WAY too many hours watching the tour. It's so compelling. So much so that I borrowed a road bike from a friend. I QUICKLY gained HUGE respect for those riders. They are incredible!

TWIZZLERS B-Y F-A-R!! Red vines just get stuck in your teeth and are worthless. Anyway, the time is ticking and Bill will be home sooner than you know it!

btw, I love your cat.

We have 6 votes for Red vines- all licorice is yucky if it is hard and old-

Actually one of my kiddos likes kookaburra licorice a lot. I have sent many a package to Brazil- but since that isn't an option, I do know he prefers red vines.

I like Red Vines for sentimental reasons. They're perfect using as straws to drink kool-aid.

I love that you had Honey Nut Cheerios for dinner. I always eat stuff like that for meals when Britton's gone.

Fact: Britton is watching Star Trek right now!
