Our New Camera

Well, we finally got our tax refund, hooray! And with it we bought something we've always wanted: a big, nice camera. We went with the Nikon D40x, which we thought was the best camera we could afford (Costco threw in another lens, SD card, battery, and case, too). Enjoy our new pictures. Don't worry, though, there will be plenty more to come.

Ahh, the digital SLR; you'll never go back. Congrats on the new member of the family.

It's so nice you have a new camera. However, not so nice when there are only pictures of snow to take. I'm ready for Spring!

Who needs Spring? I'm going to do an entire exhibit of photographs using every function on the camera. It will be called, "Coke Can on Table," and it's coming to an art gallery near you!

What do you mean "finally" got your refund? We haven't even filed yet! You sure look cute in your new camera!
What's all that white stuff in the background though? It looks cold!

I can't believe you've already gotten your tax return. We haven't even thought about taxes yet. You're sure on the ball! Great pics by the way!

Whoa, what happened to your I Hate Huckabee blog rant?

I decided I was being too political and removed it. I thought people might be offended by the burn in hell part.
