Well this year for Halloween, we decided to go to the ward party. I went as a Doctor (a mighty fine one, I might add) and Bill decided to be lame and refused to dress up, but for the sake of this post, he dressed up as a law student (this picture was taken on the first day of school last year).
The ward party was pretty good. There were lots of lions, tigers, and bears, a skunk, princesses and witches. But there were a few costumes that deserve mentioning, such as Pac Man, who is one of our Primary kids that we teach, and the Joker, who is our Bishop.
It's too bad we didn't get a better shot of him, because he really was disgusting. And the only reason I knew it was the bishop was because he walked in with his kids. He even had the disgusting scars - he was always smiling. It really was gross.

Hi Bill and Kate, this is Nicole Boyle, long lost Provo friends. We check up on you occasionally via your blog. I finally folded to peer pressure and made a blog myself. It is steamyandcold.blogspot.com. Named by our little niece June who called us Uncle Steamy and Aunt Cold before she could say our names. Take a peek at the new little Boyle!
You make a very cute doctor. Don't you just love creative costumes like the pac man? At our ward primary Trunk or Treat, one toddler was in a leather bomber jacket and man's hat with a home made bull whip attached to his belt and a bull whip made of felt that he was snapping. The most inventive was a little boy who was a voting booth. His mom had taped a square piece of cardboard to his bike helmet and covered it with blue material. She then gathered red & white striped material around the sides and back. Then he had suspenders with two plastic containers labeled Obama and McCain. I wish I could think of stuff like that!
you look cute, so does 'lil bill. it's kind of creepy that your bishop dressed up as the joker!
bill didn't dress up? Lame... I picked out Britton's costume this year which was even more lame. What ever happened to their creativity with such characters as the ghost of Mr. Delgado, and Matt Foley? Maybe once this fancy LAW SCHOOL and PHD QUALIFYING EXAMS are over they can return to their old comical selves.
lol at that picture of Bill. He makes a good looking dweeb.
lu lu,
Bill didn't dress up, he remained himself, and you call him a dweeb? The nerve.
Yes he lacks all creativity, but hopefully, my dweeby law student husband will return to his normal self once the whole job hunt is over. Britton should have dressed up as an airline pilot. Then he could have flown his plane around. was that a dumb idea, don't worry, I lack all creativity too. booo on being old.
